Since America was Founded the world has changed. A whole race of people were reduce by 90% of it's original population. The survivors of this race came to be known as South Americans, Hispanic/Latino's, And American Indians/Native Americans.
Native Americans that live in the City have been reffered to as Urban Natives for awhile now. A Native American born and raised there would know what the city has to offer.
In the city, Natives go back to the rez to reconnect to their people. Events like Canoe Journeys, Pow Wows, and Sundance, provide opportunities for Natives of all walks of life to gather. Urban Native's and Rez Natives aren't that different. Both have family struggles on and off the Rez.
Urban life( with help from the T.V, Radio, and Internet) has reached every stretch of land this country has to offer. We are at a time in history where the only distinction between Urban and Rural Life is the differences in job types, and the pace in which life flows. URBAN NATIVE LOVE GANGSTER is a ode to an Ideal of Family untouched by the reality of Urban Life, and the Pride/Strength of our people.
